Is BC Coin Casino Legit?

If you’ve been reading through our review in order, you might have noticed that our impressions of BC Coin Casino have been very mixed – we really liked some parts of it, and not so much others. But putting its quality aside, is the casino a legitimate one? Can you trust it with your money, or is it just a big scam? Although it’s very hard to say definitively, we’re leaning towards it being a legit site. There were some aspects of it which we disliked, but overall, there weren’t a lot of red flags which we would typically associate with fraudulent online casinos.

Who is the BC Coin Casino’s owner?

BC Coin is owned and operated by Luckywayz Limited B.V., a company well-versed in the online casino market. They’ve got a number of different casinos, some of which we’ve already reviewed and were impressed by (like Starzino). Although BC Coin is one of their weaker offerings, it’s undeniable that Luckywayz have a ton of experience in the industry. They’re also not shy about putting their name all over their sites, which is a good sign! It means that they didn’t create BC Coin Casino with the intention of it being a scam site (or else, why put their name on it and risk it affecting their other casinos).

Talking about BC Coin Casino’s license is very complicated specifically due to the timing of our review. On paper, BC Coin (or, to be more specific, its parent company LuckyWayz) has a license from Curacao, which is quite common for online casinos – most sites we’ve reviewed have a Curacao license. However, as luck would have it, Curacao recently changed its requirements for obtaining a license, meaning that now any company that used to own one must reapply and claim a new one. And since everyone is doing it at once, it’s taking a long time.

As such, technically speaking, BC Coin Casino doesn’t have a license yet. Realistically, though, it’s extremely likely that they’ll obtain one in the months following our review. LuckyWayz used to have one without any issues, so there’s no reason to assume they won’t be able to qualify for a new one. A license isn’t just needed so that an online casino can operate legally – it’s also your lifeline, giving you someone to report the site to in case you suspect it of fraud. Granted, most license holders (including Curacao) won’t give you back your lost money, but they’ll at least penalize the site and make sure no one else will get scammed by them in the future. Now, BC Coin Casino (as we established above) doesn’t have a license yet, so if you have a dispute before that changes, you’ll have to go through the casino itself.
