Even-Money Bet (Gambling term)

In gambling, an even-money bet is a bet that pays out at 1-1 odds. This means that if the bet wins, the player will receive an amount of money equal to their original bet. Even-money bets are typically offered on games of chance, such as roulette and craps, where the chances of winning are roughly equal to the chances of losing. For example, in roulette, an even-money bet might be placed on red or black, or on odd or even. In craps, an even-money bet might be placed on the numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, or 12. Even-money bets are considered to be less risky than other types of bets, because the potential payout is always the same, regardless of the outcome of the game.
