Third Base (Blackjack term)

“Third base” is a term used in the game of blackjack to refer to the seat at the table that is the last to receive cards. This seat is considered the most advantageous position, as the player in this seat has the opportunity to see the cards dealt to the other players before making their own decision. The player in third base also has the last opportunity to act, which can give them an advantage in certain situations. For example, if the player in third base knows that the dealer has a weak hand, they can choose to take a risk and hit on a high card in order to try and win the hand.
