MrJones Casino No Deposit Bonus
Some online casinos will offer what’s known as a “no deposit bonus” – an offer that, as its name suggests, does not require a deposit to be claimed. For example, “sign up, activate your account, and you’ll get 10 free spins, just like that!” Alas, these bonuses aren’t very common at all, and they’re not found at most casino sites – including MrJones. If you were hoping to receive some bonus cash here, you’ll first need to make a deposit in order to claim the site’s welcome package.
MrJones Casino First Deposit Bonus – 300% Match up to €1,200
Look, we’ve been pretty negative towards MrJones over the course of this review – and believe us, we’re about to become even more negative later. However, we’re also objective, and must give credit where it’s due. And this casino’s welcome bonus is honestly spectacular – it’s big, it’s generous, and it has some pretty reasonable wagering requirements.
How generous, you ask? Well, try a whopping 300%! This means that, if you deposit €100, you’ll receive an extra €300 to play with for a total of €400! This means that the maximum available bonus of €1,200 can be reached with a deposit of just €400, which is admittedly still a pretty big sum, but we can’t think of another casino site that will let you get a similar bonus for a comparable deposit.
Remember, though: this isn’t just free money you get to keep, you’ll first need to complete some wagering requirements before it gets added to your real money account. And that’s going to be the thing that trips up a lot of players, since to withdraw, you’ll need to wager through your deposit x15 times, and your bonus – x30 times. So in the aforementioned example (where you deposited €100 and got €400 in total) you’d need to make €1,500 + €9,000 = €10,500 worth of wagers to withdraw your winnings. Obviously this isn’t feasible, so it’s best to look at this bonus as an opportunity to test out games risk-free rather than as additional cash.
Second and Third Deposit Bonus – 100% Match up to €1,000
The remaining bonuses are extremely similar, which is why we’re not going to waste much time on them. In fact, the second and third deposit offers are completely identical in every way, with both of them netting you a 100% match up to €1,000 – a pretty serious offer, considering the fact that this is what many other casino sites will give you just for your first deposit. Here you’ll get this offer twice, and it’s actually the worst of the four parts of the welcome bonus!
Of course, the strict bonus requirements we described above remain (with the deposit having an x15 and the bonus cash an x30 turnover), but the positive part here is that this requirement is a little more achievable with a smaller sum. Still, we wouldn’t count on you actually being able to withdraw any of it.
Fourth Deposit Bonus – 200% Match up to €2,000
The final part of the welcome package is also very generous, giving you basically twice what the second and third deposit offers gave you: a 200% match up to €2,000. That’s a hell of a way to end the welcome package, considering that it’s a bigger bonus than some casinos will give you for your first deposit!
Again, the harsh bonus requirements remain, and the double-edged sword here is that the bigger the bonus is, the harder it’ll be to complete them and withdraw it. Though as we said before, it’s best not to think of this as some bonus cash you can withdraw, but instead, as more opportunities to test out games – which will come very useful considering the fact that MrJones Casino’s games section doesn’t have a demo mode!
Cashback – Up to 20% Back on Losses
Although welcome bonuses are always welcome (heh), they’re also just for one-time use, which means that most casinos have other ways to reward their long-term players. One of them is reload promotions, which will refresh whenever they’re used so that players can use them over and over again. The other is a VIP program which will allow players to accumulate points and unlock passive perks the more they play that will reward them in various ways.
We’re explaining this to showcase the fact that MrJones doesn’t have either of those things. Yep, once you’ve used up all four welcome bonuses, you’re SOL in terms of getting more bonus cash. Okay, that’s not quite true, as there is one promo available: a cashback that will reward you with a percentage of your losses every week.
If you make a deposit and end the week with less money than you put down, you’ll receive a cashback on the net losses, with the cashback percentage depending on the size of your deposit.
The lowest available percentage is just 5%, and we reckon that’s what most of you will be getting considering the fact that it’s for deposits of under €1,000. So if you deposit, say, €100, but have only €80 the following Monday, you’ll get 5% back on your €20 loss, or €1 as a cashback. It’s fine, but it’s absolutely not good enough to be worth giving up on all the other bonuses here!
Tournaments
Tournaments are, technically, part of MrJones’ expanded repertoire of bonuses – hence why we’re bringing them up here. However, as of the time of writing, there weren’t actually any tourneys available to play. As a matter of fact, the “Tournaments” section – otherwise very prominently displayed in the menu – only contains four tournaments that have ever taken place, the last one nearly two months prior to us researching the site.
What’s worse, the “Promotions” page actually promises that these tournaments are weekly, and that’s obviously not the case at all. So, just to put things in perspective, MrJones doesn’t have any reload promotions, doesn’t have a proper VIP program, and its tournaments are extremely rare (you won’t even find any Drops & Wins promotions here). Yeah, it’s safe to say that the bonus section as a whole is a major disappointment here.
