Red Casino No Deposit Bonus
Who doesn’t love no deposit bonuses? Being able to experience an online casino’s games and features before you ever need to buy a single chip is a fantastic boon that, sadly, too many modern online casinos choose to ignore. Red Casino is one of them, as its bonus offerings all require that you put down some money before you can get those extra chips. This is a major disappointment, but also, hardly surprising, so we can’t hold it against the casino.
Red Casino Welcome Bonus – 100% Match up to £25 + 50 Free Spins
Oof. There is just no way to talk about this welcome bonus in any kind of positive way. It’s extremely bad. You may be reading the title and going “Huh? £25? Don’t you mean £250, or maybe even £2,500?” And no, we don’t. This is all the bonus you’re getting, the equivalent of a modest meal in a restaurant without the drink or tip. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
The fact of the matter is that most online casinos rely on their bonus offerings in order to attract new players – on their welcome bonus most of all. That’s why you’ll often see the big brand casinos advertise not with their games (even though that’s the most important part), but with their amazing bonuses. Red Casino’s pathetic £25 will alienate most players right off the bat.
Technically, this bonus is part of a two-bonus “welcome package”, meaning that the second time you place a deposit you’ll receive a little something as well. Unfortunately, it’s just as insulting as the first bonus – 50 free spins on the slot “Big Bass Bonanza”, with no match deposit in sight. What makes this even worse is that these are the only cash bonuses available at the casino, meaning that not only are they pathetic, but also once they’re gone, you won’t get any bonus cash whatsoever, just some free spins from the Daily Spin Frenzy reload offer.
If you were to claim thiese bonuses after all, then the silver lining is that its wagering requirements are fairly reasonable – only x35 for both the spins and match bonus. To claim each bonus, you’ll need to deposit at least £20, and from there, you’ll have 21 days to complete the requirements. Another thing to keep in mind is that the free spins will only be available for 24 hours, so you need to spin through them as quickly as possible to avoid losing them.
Daily Spin Frenzy
Okay, so you claimed the free spins from the welcome bonus and enjoyed them – but how can you get more? Well, the good news is that Red Casino has a promotion known as “Daily Spin Frenzy” that will give you few extra free spins every single day. The problem is that getting these free spins will require a whole lot of work and a rather big investment.
Here’s how it works: every day, the casino will count how much real money you have wagered on any slot game. If you manage to exceed a certain threshold, you’ll receive a certain amount of spins. Here is each threshold and how many spins that’ll get you:
- £100 – 10 spins;
- £300 – 15 spins;
- £500 – 25 spins;
- £1,000 – 50 spins;
If you have surpassed the threshold, you’ll receive your spins the next day and can claim them from your profile. Once you do, you’ll have 24 hours to spin through them, and then a further 21 days to wager the winnings from them x35 times. As if that wasn’t enough for bonus requirements, this offer is only available for players from the UK, so non-UK gamblers won’t get any spins no matter how much they wager.
Rewards Program
Okay, so a bit earlier we said that the only promotion at Red Casino besides the welcome bonus are tournaments, and that’s technically true if you live in the UK. Non-UK players also get to enjoy a standalone VIP program that will grant them rewards the more real money they wager. It’s honestly rather strange to see Red Casino exclude their home market from one of their biggest features, but that’s how it is.
At its core, the Rewards Program really isn’t that different from most loyalty initiatives out there – for every £10 wagered you’ll receive 1 Rewards point. Once you have accumulated enough, you can redeem those points for real money at a rate that is dependent on your level. Said level will increase based on your total lifetime earned points – even if you decide to redeem your points, that total number is not going to decrease and lower your level.
It’s an extremely basic system, but it will get the job done, especially if you aren’t really focused on it and are just checking your points periodically on the side. With that said, given that the casino’s audience is primarily UK-based, we also don’t understand why they won’t be able to enjoy it the way that players from other countries can – and even so, there aren’t too many countries besides the UK that can even play at Red Casino. The whole thing boggles the mind.
Tournaments at Red Casino
Red Casino does not have a dedicated “tournaments” page, nor any tournaments that it hosts on its own. With that said, it will periodically host “Drops and Wins”-types promotions, which you can see – where else – on its promotions page.
The difference between those and regular tournaments is that “Drops & Wins” are hosted by the game provider rather than the casino, and these tournaments extend to most casinos where certain games are hosted. This dramatically reduces the chance of any one player winning anything (since a lot more players are competing for a slice of the pie), but if you do win, the rewards will also be much bigger. As of the time of writing, the tournaments hosted on Red Casino have a prize pool of up to £2,000,000.
