Back Line (Craps term)

In the game of craps, the “back line” is another term for the “don't pass” line. This is the area on the craps table where players place bets against the shooter, and it is located directly opposite the “pass” line. Players who bet on the back line are hoping that the shooter will roll a seven or an eleven on the come out roll, which would result in a loss for the back line bettors. The back line is considered to be a more conservative bet than the pass line, and it offers slightly better odds for the player.
