Point (Craps term)

In the game of craps, a point is a specific number that is established by the shooter on their first roll. If the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 on their first roll, that number becomes the point. The shooter then continues to roll the dice until they either roll the point again, in which case they win the bet, or roll a 7, in which case they lose the bet. Points are important in craps because they determine the outcome of the shooter's roll and the bets that are placed on the table.
