Verification Documents Required for Deposit

Even though Crystal Roll won’t require you to confirm your identity to deposit, it will certainly have to do so in order to process your withdrawal. This isn’t some kind of funny whim that its creators came up with in an attempt to delay paying out as long as possible: instead, it’s the result of international regulations that every casino needs to comply with. If they don’t, they might lose the ability to process any transactions, be they deposits or withdrawals.

In theory, verification sounds quite complicated, but that’s not the case in practice. All you need to do is present a few documents, such as:

• Proof of ID – A valid form of Dutch photo ID – your passport or identity card will do just fine;
• Proof of Address – A document that proves you live on a particular address within the Netherlands – for instance, a utility bill;
• Proof of Payment Method.

The first two are fairly straightforward, but what does ‘proof of payment method’ even mean? In practice, it means that you need to prove you own the method you used to make your deposit at Crystal Roll. For example, if you deposited via credit card, you’ll have to show a photo of it to prove that you have it in your possession. If you did so via e-wallet, like Revolut, you’ll have to screenshot its interface while logged in so that your real name is visible. And if you deposited via crypto, then you won’t need to prove anything because, due to the very nature of the blockchain, it’s impossible to determine whether a particular wallet belongs to a particular person.
