Is GT.bet Casino Legit?
Even the best online casino can completely crumble under its own weight if it’s not a legitimate site – after all, who cares about huge bonuses or different gambling options if you can’t enjoy your winnings at the end, right? And unfortunately, there are several signs that give us cause for concern regarding GT.bet’s legitimacy. Keep in mind that this is a brand new casino which hasn’t yet been tested by players in a significant capacity – so we’re operating not on cold, hard facts, but on assumptions drawn from what we’re seeing. Those assumptions, however, aren’t positive.
Who is the GT.bet Casino’s owner?
GT.bet is owned and operated by Nimbus Enterprises Limitada – an extremely small company based in Costa Rica which only has one other online casino under its belt, 0x.bet (you can tell they’re rather creative when it comes to names). Generally, small companies like that without much of a papertrail can be hit or miss, doubly so when their latest site is still untested by players. As such, we decided to research 0x.bet and found many reports from players who had withdrawals canceled after being approved. The site itself chalks up those cancellations as “technical issues” that have since been resolved, but it’s something to consider.
GT.bet Casino license
And here comes the biggest red flag regarding GT.bet: its license, or lack thereof. Every single legitimate online casino is licensed – it’s pretty much the thing that makes it “legitimate”. Many countries require a license to allow the casino to legally operate within its territory, and even if yours doesn’t, it’s still a good idea to play only at licensed sites anyway. GT.bet claims to have a Costa Rica license – which is technically true. That license, however, is for business, not for casino regulation. Any business licensed in Costa Rica, whether a casino or a barber shop, must have such a license. And that means GT.bet is, at best, unlicensed when it comes to casino regulation, and at worst, actively trying to deceive people into thinking that it’s not.
GT.bet Casino complaints & disputes
Licenses aren’t just a good idea because they help you stay on the right side of the law. They also provide protections from scams against players, and give you someone to turn to if the casino itself gives you the cold shoulder. For example, imagine your withdrawal request is denied, and yet GT.bet doesn’t reply to your emails asking why. A regulator like Anjouan could theoretically step in and intervene – but if GT.bet is unlicensed, it has no oversight at all. Which is yet another reason why it’s a generally bad idea to play at casinos that don’t have a proper license.
