According to its footer, NV is owned and operated by a Cyprus company known as Kaurum Limited – but try as we might, we found nothing about it online. There are loads of international companies by the same name, but none of them matched what the Cyprus one is doing. We even tried to find it in a Cyprus business registry, with no luck. This probably means that Kaurum Limited is just a shell company of another corporation, and that the people behind it are desperately trying to hide this fact from you. It’s impossible to tell why, but we bet you can think of a few ideas.

According to NV’s footer, it’s fully licensed by Curacao – so, case closed, right? Not so. Very recently, Curacao changed the way in which it licenses casinos, making the requirements for regulation significantly more strict. As a result, many casino sites around the world lost their licenses and ended up unregulated, or going to competitors like Anjouan. Is it possible NV Casino isn’t among them, and managed to keep its Curacao license? Sure is, but it’s impossible to prove that definitively without evidence. And without a link to the certificate or anything of the sort, there is, indeed, no evidence that the casino is beholden to anyone at all.

Playing at unlicensed casino sites is illegal in many countries around the world – but that’s not the reason why it’s not recommended that you do so. Instead, it’s about accountability. If a licensed casino scams you, you can report them to their regulator, who will make sure there are consequences. If an unlicensed casino scams you, well… they have nothing left to lose.
