As mentioned way back in the beginning of our review, the desktop version of FoxyGold isn’t particularly great – primarily because it has some rather huge icons that take up a lot more real estate on the screen than they really need to. So, the next logical question is: how does it fare on mobile? And the answer is: better, but still not amazing. Quite frankly, FoxyGold in general just has some serious issues with its user interface, and those issues persist regardless of platform.

What’s more, the large, flashy icons can cause some issues on older phones. While testing, we ended up seeing many graphical glitches, such as certain icons or elements not appearing as they should (for example, being in the wrong place or missing altogether). Admittedly, this isn’t something that most players will stumble upon – since most should have newer phones with more RAM that can handle it better. But giving the rest an inferior, broken experience, all for the sake of a flashy interface that feels like it’s more hassle than it’s worth doesn’t make for a good mobile version.
