The UK is by far one of the most competitive markets when it comes to online casinos, and it’s really not hard to see why – gambling may as well be part of British culture by this point! Founded just recently as of the time of writing this review (2023), the casino is already boasting lots of different games and features, as well as an impressive array of payment methods that seek to accommodate as many players as possible. But will that be enough?

To find out, we at Casinos.CC decided to take a very close look at the site, examining it head to toe… And, sadly, we found it lacking in many different ways. It appeared that, no matter where we looked, there was always something missing, some kind of essential feature that was poorly implemented or omitted altogether. For example, you can’t order the games in any way (not even by provider), and your profile lacks certain basic information that really should have been there.

Perhaps some of these are simply growing pains. Maybe, if given enough time, all of those issues will be resolved and we’ll be left with a decent-to-great casino site that will leave its players happy and satisfied. But that site isn’t Red Casino, not as it is now. Its current version is, at best, unfinished, and at worst, poorly thought out. As such, we wouldn’t recommend it most UK players.

The thing that’s important to understand when it comes to UK casinos is that they’re impossible to review in a vacuum. It’s one of the most saturated gambling markets in the world, with many companies trying to break into other markets using the UK as a template. I could tell you “Red Casino does a lot of things well,” and that would be true, but it also wouldn’t be telling the entire story.

Because ultimately, when you compare the casino to its contemporaries in the UK, the cracks become more apparent than ever. I can’t lie and say that a welcome bonus of merely £25 felt satisfactory to me when the next site over will give you triple or even quadruple digits. Nor can I say I felt Red Casino was feature-complete when it doesn’t even have live chat when basically every site that has opened its doors in the UK this decade has done so with a chat function.
