Yet another disappointment – albeit a more minor one – lies in Royalen’s customer support page. Once we opened it, we were rather surprised to discover that the casino doesn’t currently offer a live chat option. The only ways to contact a representative are by sending an email or by submitting a ticket directly from the Support page, which will in turn see you receiving a response in your email inbox (so it’s basically the same thing). No matter what issue you have, you’ll need to wait up to 24 hours to receive a response.

Granted, email IS generally better for many complaints, such as financial issues (unpaid winnings, non-reflected deposits, etc). But live chat still has a purpose, specifically for simpler issues (like a bonus not being added to your account) or for questions about the casino’s features and offers. So the fact that you aren’t able to reach out and get a response in real time is not only inconvenient, but could potentially put your account at risk – for example, if you got hacked and needed to regain control ASAP.
